This is a substantial piece. It has a nice 3D effect thanks to the brackets in the back that bump it out a few inches from the wall. I love tree imagery and the idea of having a seasons tree. This is perfect for that! I decorate it with handmade greeting cards, postcards and snail mail I receive for the various holidays throughout the year. (Yes, many of my friends and family enjoy the antiquated but tangible tradition of mailed greetings. It's an artful anachronism and with this tree, it makes for interactive, ever-changing decor-just likes the seasons themselves.
